So, the other day my son asked me to make French toast for breakfast, and I said, “Sure! No problem! I would love to make that for you!” (I said it just like that too. I had no hidden agenda of my own desire to have French toast.) *wink*wink*
When I got downstairs I quickly realized we did not have any bread to make French toast with! Yikes! I did not want to disappoint so I scoured the kitchen for something, anything I could use to make French toast with. I came across the left over yeast rolls we had for dinner the day before.
Perfect! And that, my friend, is how French-Toast Yeast Rolls were born!
French-Toast Yeast Rolls
5 or 6 yeast rolls
¼ cup plus 2 Tbsp sugar
2 Tbsp milk
Heat skillet on stove top on medium to low heat. (If using electric skillet heat to 250°-275°)
Wisk eggs, sugar, and milk in a pie plate. Place yeast rolls into egg mixture and coat well. Place coated rolls on hot skillet and cook until browned on all sides.

These were so good! I knew they would be.
Who doesn’t love yeast rolls? Who doesn’t love French toast?
How could you go wrong with the two?
Golden and crunchy on the outside. Soft and yeasty on the inside.
