{DIY} *Starbucks* Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappucino {Save $$$}

I love me a good Starbucks Frappuccino!

Have you tried the Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappucino?

Seriously!!!! Must try!

I very rarely go to Starbucks ’cause they are so stinking expensive!

That said… I’ve been experimenting with making my own, and I’m pretty sure that I will never have to go to Starbucks again. Okay, while that might not be completely true… (’cause lets face it, sometime mom needs time away!) I know that if I get the hankering for a frappucino, I can make it at home!!! Yay! I’m all happy now! :D

 Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappucino

1 cup strong coffee (I used decaff)
¼ cup plus 2 Tbs flavored creamer (I used International Delight – Cold Stone Creamery Sweet Cream)
½ tsp white sugar
½ tsp brown sugar
1 Tbsp chocolate syrup
3 Tbsp mini chocolate chips, chopped
3 Oreos, crushed (or 2 Tbs cookie crumbs)
1-1½ cup crushed ice
Chocolate whipped cream (optional, but not really…)
Cookie crumbs for garnish (optional, but yet again, not really…)

Mix coffee, creamer, sugars, and chocolate syrup together. Refrigerate if using hot coffee. Once coffee is cooled, pour into blender. Add chocolate chips, crushed Oreos and ice. Blend on high until everything is well mixed and the ice is no longer visible. Top with whipped cream and cookie crumbs. Enjoy!

Here is the creamer I used…

I think I might eat this over my cereal in the morning. ;)

Enjoy, y’all! Go save yourself some $$$!

  1. Wow! You may have just changed my life. A little dramatic, perhaps? I love the Mocha Cookie Crumble so much, so I definitely have to try this. Although, I never have Oreos in my house because I can seriously eat the entire bag in one sitting. ;) Oh, well, it’s worth the risk.

    Stopping from Serenity Now.

    • Kim,
I feel your pain with the Oreos! They don’t last long in our house either. I’ve discovered if I buy a bag that I know I want to use for crumbs, I just go ahead and crush the whole bag at one time (in the food processor) that way I know they won’t get eaten. Hope this helps! Thanks for stopping by! :D

  2. This is not gonna help cure my sugar addiction. Oh well, I can always try to be sugar free another day. I’ve got a frappucino to make today. Thanks!

  3. Thank you for sharing. Found you at Sugar Bee Crafts. I LOVE Starbucks (I live in Seattle so we get it IV’d right into the bloodstream). ;-) But I always love a recipe for making fraps at home.

  4. OH MY GOSH…this looks DELICIOUS! I don’t have a Starbucks where I live so I have not tried the Mocha Cookie Crumble yet but from reading the ingredients sounds delicious & I will definitely have to make this! Yay, this has made my day.

  11. I work at Starbucks and what makes the mocha cookie crumble different from the java chip is that we add vanilla to it! So maybe try adding a little bit of vanilla to get even closer to the original taste! Also, we use chocolate chips instead of oreos! :)

  14. This looks amazing! How much ice did you use? I do something similar with the caramel frap, but I freeze my coffee in ice cub trays.
