Hello, my name is Stephanie Hill, I’m the Lady with the Red Rocker on my porch. I’m just a lady striving to keep Christ the center of my life, as I try to be more like Him. Even though I may fail, the Lord is always there to pick me up.
I’m wife to my wonderful husband, Doug, the engineer, who can fix anything. I’m a stay-at-home mom of four beautiful children. I’m a craftaholic. My mind is always going in 47 different directions, and I usually have 2 or 3 projects going at once. I love all kinds of crafts, DIM (do it myself),and decorating my home. I have also discovered that I really dig photography. I’m still learning, so please, don’t make fun of my pictures on here! (Okay, if they are really bad you can.) We live in a small, patriotic town in western Ohio. We are super busy with church and school (did I mention we also home-school? crazy I know…).
My goal for this blog is to share with you fun and cool ideas, that I come across, for the family and home. Hope you enjoy, and Thanks for stopping by!
Steph

Just found your blog. Have you ever stayed at the Red Rocker Inn in Black Mountain, NC? Of course they have red rockers on the porch!
Kay, no I have not, but it sounds like a place I would love to go! I will have to look into it. Thanks for the tip, and for stopping by!
What a great idea for a cake. I will definitely have to try this for my grandchildren. Moved to northwest Ohio and just love the small surrounding communities. As a fellow Christian, I appreciate you trying to keep Christ the center of your life – my life would be a mess if I didn’t. Every day is a blessed journey.
Freda, thanks so much for sharing your testimony. I must thank my Lord everyday for where He has taken me, and what He has protected me from! Thanks for stopping by!
Thank you for all your ideas, recipes and clever things!! God has given you a gift and you are obedient in sharing what He has blessed you with!!
Thank you, April. Your words are so kind. Thanks for stopping by!
I love your site. The red rocker, the inviting porch, the Cinnabon Cake recipe!!! We have a common bond! Both homeschool moms, both sisters in the Lord. Saw your cake post on Pinterest, pinned it, and got engrossed in your blog! You have a great thing going here:)
